Google Chrome Hidden Game
I Bet You Din't Knew This

So what you do when your Internet cuts out? Well, in Google Chrome's latest version, you can play an endless running game with its T-Rex mascot till your internet comes back.
Google has added an endless T-Rex Runner game into Chrome Canary, in which you attempt to survive as a cute T-Rex Dinosaur by jumping over various Cacti. The game is only accessible when the browser detects that you’re offline, on the ‘Unable to connect to the Internet’ error page. It’s completely hidden unless you know where to look.

Yet when you press the space bar, the T-Rex will immediately jump. The ground beneath him will extend to the right, and he’ll start running:

This amusing little game was alluded to by François Beaufort, a Google "open-source Chromium Evangelist," who posted a screengrab of the T. Rex.

Who Is Mia Khalifa?

Who Is Mia Khalifa?
Why this Lebanon born star has been the subject of heavy criticism.

Mia Khalifa (born February 10, 1993) is a Lebanese American pornographic actress and adult model. She have been recently designated as the no 1 porn star in the world by Pornhub, taking this crown from the earlier porn celeb Lisa Ann, a designation for which she and her family receive death threats and vitriolic hatred from religious fundamentalists in her home country.

Mia Khalifa (not her real name) moved from Beirut, Lebanon to the United States at the age of ten before eventually moving to Miami, where she is now based. 21-year-old Mia is doing pretty well for herself. She's well educated, has a job that pays pretty well and is successful in her field.

Pornhub recently ranked her the most popular performer after only a short period in the industry – but it seems not everyone was impressed.

Her desgination drew strong criticism from many, including some in the Middle East who branded her “a disgrace” to the country and “shameful”.

Mia Khalifa have started using Twitter, the micro blogging platform to send a strong message to her critics, she has since been re-tweeting all the abuse sparked by those taking issue with her Middle Eastern origins – some of which included death threats.

Many people took issue with a scene from one of her videos showing her wearing a sacred hijab, a part of traditional female Muslim dress, describing it as “problematic and gross”.

Khalifa also came under fire for her body tattoos she has relating to Lebanon, including the opening line of the Lebanese national anthem and a tattoo of the Lebanese Forces Cross, which she said was to "show solidarity with my father's political views after a bombing in Lebanon in 2012”.

However, Khalifa also had many supporters defending her decision to perform in pornography and her supporting her.

British-Lebanese author Nasri Atallah was one of many to take a stand against all the criticism she was receiving, writing in a Facebook post: "The moral indignation […] is wrong for two reasons. First and foremost, as a woman, she is free to do as she pleases with her body.

“As a sentient human being with agency, who lives halfway across the world, she is in charge of her own life and owes absolutely nothing to the country where she happened to be born.”

Mia Khalifa says she doesn’t plan on staying in porn forever: “It’s not something I’d make a career out of, but I’ll ride it out 'til I can’t do it anymore.” Until then, she just wishes the media would leave her family alone. Asked if her career was worth losing her family, she said she wasn't sure. “I can’t say it’s worth it,” she says. “But I can’t self-pity, because I consciously made this decision myself.”

Striking Photos Aim To Redefine 'Natural' Female Beauty

“Natural Beauty” is a series of pictures taken by London-based photographer Ben Hopper. In 2007, Hopper started this photo series to challenge what he described as the societal ‘brainwashing’ done by the beauty industry. Using an eclectic group of models, actresses, designers and friends, Hopper’s pictures highlight a woman’s true beauty, her armpit hair, and the timely reminder that those two things are in no way mutually exclusive. ‘As I matured as a person and an artist, I realized I liked [armpit hair],’ Hopper told The Huffington Post. ‘I think it can be a beautiful look.’ Read the rest of the article here.

Ben Hopper in his facebook album tells, “Natural Beauty” could be classified as a type of protest. By creating a contrast between common ‘fashionable’ female beauty and the raw unconventional look of female armpit hair thoughts are intrigued and a discussion is made.

Twinkle Khanna Defends Freedom Of Speech
Speaks up on the AIB Roast Controversy

Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar's wife & famous film actress Twinkle Khanna have spoken up on the All India Bakchod Roast controversy, and we believe it's the best sensible thing we have read this week. She addresses the controversy, expressing how attention should be drawn towards rather more important issues than this one.

Here's an excerpt from the article:

"Shouldn’t we save our strength to protest against things that really matter — like gangs of men still killing and raping women as they did again in Rohtak; that we spend $38.35 billion on warfare but are slashing our health care budget by 20% despite being a country whose public spending on health is already among the lowest in the world; that a bunch of us have been called ‘haramzade’ on a political platform from a member of the party that governs us and not from a standup comedian but no FIR is filed against the politician but is filed against the AIB comedians instead."

Study Tips for School College Students
For Students Appearing For Their SSC, HSC Exams in India

Exam time is round the corner. Tension is at it's peak with students from every corner of the country gearing up to appear for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC-Std X) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC-Std XII) Board Exams at their respective state boards. We came across this message being forwarded on Social Media Platforms like Facebook & WhatsApp, so thought of sharing the same to bring some ease to both the students & parents. Read the below Study Tips, Apply and Get Amazing Results. Also Kindly Share with all your friends as much as possible.

When you start preparing for English Exam... Remember this...

You will be having different sets A, B, C, D. . .wherein the seen passages, seen poems, rapid reading section would be different for each set. Unseen passages and writing skills would be same for all the sets. . .If you try to analyse this properly, you can't afford to skip anything basically.(Roger that!)

1.) Always start studying from the last unit i.e. unit 8 then 7,6,5. . . so on as you don't have much hold over the last 4 units compared to the ones at the start.

First do all the 8 poems beginning from Unit 8; after that, do all the lessons, rapid reading and then at the last grammar(whatever is left) and writing skills.

2.) For Poetry:

Solve the activity before the poem. Glance through the poem twice and try to understand the meaning. Then, Refer the notes and read the summary twice or thrice.

After that, read the glossary thoroughly and solve the textual questions giving more preference to personal response ones. Frame your own answers if possible as it becomes easier to recall at the last moment using the *quotes* given to you. Also , don't forget to do poetic devices- rhyming scheme, rhyming words, figure of speech( only which is given in that specific poem) and writing skills usually given at the end of each poem.

3.) For Prose:

First solve the activity before the text. Then, start by reading the lesson thoroughly using a *dictionary*. . .Know the central idea and summary in depth by refering to the notes.

Read the glossary efficiently followed by the questions given after the text especially, interpretative and personal response questions using the quotes given to you (Try framing your own answers). You may skip one sentence questions.

After this, solve the grammar given below the text and the writing skill topics given at the end of the text without fail.

4.) For Rapid Reading:

Read all the lessons only before the beginning of the board exams in depth.

During the course of the exams, don't waste your timing by reading this. Know the story well and the central idea revolving around that story.

5.) For Grammar:

You don't need to study this separately as almost 90% of the grammar would be done when you study the prose and poetry in depth without skipping anything.

The topics which you may find difficult are transformation of sentences, clauses, etc. . .For this, just know the basics and they're asked only once in a blue moon.

Pay more attention to topics which have studied earlier well. Simple topics like articles, prepositions, noun/adjective/verb form, etc can be tricky enough. Direct/ indirect speech always comes for 2 marks.

Revise every topic though you find it too easy or difficult. And remember, grammar can't be mastered overnight!

6.) For Writing Skills:
1 mark is always for grammar and presentation skills. . .

Letter Writing : Always prefer formal letter. This would include  letters for general civic problems, job application letter, etc. Remember to write address, subject, reference, thanking you, enclosures, etc.
Divide the letter into 3 paragraphs. . .Don't give full stop after writing the date. Don't write 'To,' Just write, #The Manager/ Principal. . . In the first paragraph, mention the sole purpose for writing the letter in 2-3 lines. Second paragraph, should be a flop descriptive one with regard to the subject and the last paragraph, should conclude the letter in a polite way.

(Easy to score 3.5marks  out of 4over here if written with perfection and not a single cancellation)

Tourist Leaflet: Write it in a creative way with quality content. Add your own points along with the points asked.(Maximum you can get 3.5/4 marks over here)

Report Writing: Headline carries 1 mark so give a good one. Placeline and dateline half mark. Divide the report into three paragraphs.

*Sequence* of events which took and the past tense of the report are the most important points to be kept in mind.

In the first one, describe what happened, where it happened, at what time it happened and who was there. . .Basically, first paragraph should answer major 'Wh' questions.

In the second paragraph, decribe what were the major highlights of the event in brief sequentially.

In the third paragraph, conclude the report in one or two sentences and the end mention. . . Reporter. ..(Maximum you can 3 marks)

Information transfer: Always go for non-verbal to verbal one as it consumes your time. Write it in only 1 paragraph covering half or more than half page. Start like this. . .' The above diagrams gives information. . .about. . .write what is given in the question. . .After that, write whatever you understand from the pictorial representation as it in simple words. Don't write too much. Keep it brief and simple. (Maximum marks: 3.5/4)

Interview Questions: Frame 10 questions. Give a introduction about the person whom you're interviewing in 2-3 lines. Keep the questions simple. Always ask these 4 questions for any type of interview:

What were the challenges faced by you during your less adventurous days?

Who motivated you or influenced when times were thick and thin?

What was the turning point of your life?

What advice/ message would you like to give to the young generation who aspires to become like you? (Ask this question always at the end)

(Maximum marks: 4/4)

View/ Counterview: Don't attempt this as it is not a scoring topic. You can't manipulate the points given and you have to be precise enough while conveying your view/ counterview.

Speech Writing: Very similar to expand the idea. Always start with the salutation. . .' Respected teacher and my dear friends' and then divide the speech into minimum 5 paragraph. Enrich it with lot of quotes, examples, case studies, etc. Quality content is expected. Not easy to score unless you write in a creative way.(Maximum marks: 2.5/3)

Note: As soon as you get the question paper, glance through the writing skills, make a proper choice  and collect thoughts on that as you write the paper.

Don't waste more time solving comprehension, for 2 marks questions: 4 sentences are expected. If you write 1 it 2 quotes, even 2- 3 sentences would be enough.( You can easily score 2/2)

Be spacious while writing the paper. Highlight important points and quotes or anything new which you have written with a pencil.
Mark my words, it does matter!

Don't use short forms, numbers anywhere while writing the answer unless it's mentioned in the extract. Your marks are being cut using that.

Don't skip anything.

Don't try to learn new things at the last moment.

Follow whatever you believe with conviction.

Last but not the least: Keep your best foot forward and let go of everything and remember this. . .

" Whatever is Difficult can be made Simple,
Whatever is Simple can be made Easy,
And whatever is Easy can be done Superbly. . ."

"EFFORTS MAY FAIL BUT YOU SHOULD NOT FAIL TO MAKE EFFORTS!" ~ Nido Qubein.

ALL THE VERY BEST!!!

Pls pass on this message to all those who are appearing for HSC board exams from this week.

If Cricket Teams Were Students
Comparing WC teams with Academic Performance

ICC Cricket World Cup Season is On. Being one of the biggest sporting event of India and the World, we thought about comparing all the famous participating cricket teams based upon their overall performance. Below are few minimal posters, depicting a comparison of these teams in a funny poster series "If Cricket Teams Were Students".

India — An unpredictable student who either tops or fails miserably and has a rich daddy. Even if he fails the mother covers up by saying ‘Atleast he has better marks than his other classmate called Pakistan’

South Africa — A student who tops in units and semesters, but fails in the final exams

Pakistan — A student who has the potential of being a topper but spends most of his time fighting and even beating other schoolmates. Either blames the teacher, paper quality of the exam paper, or fellow classmate (India) for his non-performance

England — A rare case where the teacher is still a student who has never cleared a final exam

West Indies — A student who was a topper till 5th grade but currently fails in every exams. Has a tendency of not preparing for the final exams and also leaving midway from the examination hall

New Zealand — A student who always scores a distinction but never tops the class

Australia — A student who is always a topper and the biggest bully of the school

Sri Lanka — A student who suddenly became a potential topper after 5th grade

Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Shaheed Bhagat Singh
(भगत सिंह ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ بھگت سنگھ)

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (28 September 1907 – 23 March 1931) was a Fearless Indian freedom fighter, considered to be one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement. He is often referred to as Shaheed Bhagat Singh (the word shaheed meaning "martyr").

Born in 28 September 1907 (at Jaranwala Tehsil, Punjab, British India) to a Jat Sikh family which had earlier been involved in revolutionary activities against the British Raj, Singh, as a teenager, became an atheist and had studied European revolutionary movements. He also became attracted to anarchism and Marxist ideologies. At a very young age, Bhagat Singh became involved in various revolutionary organizations. He quickly rose through the ranks of his main organisation Hindustan Republican Association (HRA) and became one of its leaders, later converting it to the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA). Singh gained support when he underwent a 116-day fast in jail, demanding equal rights for Indian and British political prisoners. He was hanged for shooting a police officer in response to a police lathi charge leading to the demise of veteran freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai. His legacy prompted youths in India to begin fighting for Indian independence and contributed to the rise of socialism in India.

Life of Bhagat Singh

One of the most inspirational youth icons of the Indian freedom struggle, Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907 in the Khatkar Kalan village near Banga in the Lyallpur district of Punjab. Born into a Traditional Sikh family (some of whom had been active in Indian independence movements and others having served in Maharaja Ranjit Singh's army) with a proud legacy of revolutionary activities against the British rule, Bhagat Singh cultivated his revolutionary zeal from a tender age.

The notorious Jalianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919 (where thousands of unarmed civilians were killed by the British) left an indelible scar on the mind of Bhagat Singh. At a very tender age of 12, he decided to give his life for the Country's Freedom Struggle and soon founded the Indian nationalist youth organization – “Naujawan Bharat Sabha”. He also joined the Hindustan Republican Association and started working relentlessly with the prominent leaders, such as Ram Prasad Bismil, Chandrashekhar Azad and Ashfaqulla Khan to garner opposition against the British.

In 1928, when the Simon Commission came to India, it was met with peaceful boycott by Indian political parties all over the country, because it did not include a single Indian in its membership. During one such protest march in Lahore on October 30, veteran leader Lala Lajpat Rai was mercilessly beaten up by police chief James A. Scott and Lala later succumbed to the fatal injuries. Bhagat Singh, who witnessed this macabre incident, vowed to take revenge & hatched a conspiracy to kill Scott with other revolutionaries, Shivaram Rajguru, Sukhdev Thapar and Chandrashekhar Azad. However, in an unfortunate case of mistaken identity, DSP J.P. Saunders fell to the revolutionaries' bullets instead of the police chief.

After killing Saunders, Bhagat Singh & his group went into hiding to escape prosecution, but soon came under light during the 1929 Assembly bomb throwing incident. Bhagat and his comrades at the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association planned to detonate a bomb in the assembly in order to protest against the Public Safety Bill and the Trade Dispute Act, which had been rejected by the Assembly but were being enacted by the Viceroy using his special powers. As per the plot, on April 8, 1929, Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt stormed inside the court and threw bombs onto the corridors of the assembly shouting "Inquilab Zindabad." Both Singh and Dutt voluntarily courted arrest and they were sentenced to ' Transportation for Life' for the incident.

But soon the British got wind of Bhagat Singh's involvement in the killing of Saunders and along with Sukhdev and Rajguru, he was charged with murder. True to his fearless soul, Bhagat Singh owned responsibility of the murder and justified the act in a fiery statement. After a farcical trial lasting five months, on March 23, 1931, Bhagat Singh was hanged in Lahore with his fellow comrades Rajguru and Sukhdev.

Philosophy of Bhagat Singh

Bhagat Singh was a visionary leader whose battles against the British were based on the strong foundation of the principles he staunchly believed in and cherished. Ace Indian Leader, Subhas Chandra Bose said that "Bhagat Singh had become the symbol of the new awakening among the youths". Even though Bhagat took the plunge in the non-cooperation movement called by Mahatma Gandhi at an early age, he soon became disenchanted with Gandhian philosophy and gradually embraced the socialist way of thought. Bhagat Singh's 404 page jail diary, later published as 'A Martyr's Book,' offers a glimpse into the philosophy and thoughts of Bhagat Singh.

Marxism
Bhagat Singh got very fascinated by the Marxism Ideology at a young age and the Russian Revolution of 1917 greatly kindled the revolutionary zeal running in his veins. He was greatly influenced by the thoughts of Marxist luminaries such as Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. After joining the Hindustan Republican Association, Bhagat Singh and his comrades rechristened the organization as Hindustan Socialist Republican Association and partook in many revolutionary activities. Regarded as one of the earliest Marxists in India, Bhagat Singh envisioned a socialist India with equality for all.

Atheism
Bhagat Singh was a staunch atheist and he refused to acknowledge the existence of an omnipresent God. He opined that God is the imaginary creation of the man who is too conscious of his weaknesses, limitations and shortcomings and each time he is confronted with trying circumstances or dangers, he conveniently takes recourse to this almighty God.

Because of such extreme beliefs, Bhagat Singh was criticized as being arrogant and vain even by his fellow revolutionaries. During his period of incarceration in 1931, while waiting for the hangman's noose, Bhagat Singh wrote a pamphlet entitled 'Why I am an Atheist' to silence all the criticism.

Bhagat Singh in Jail

Bhagat Singh was a fearless soul, not a man to be deterred by the fear of police atrocities or long stretches of imprisonment. After exploding bombs in the famous Incident of Central Assembly Bombing on April 8, 1929, Bhagat Singh voluntarily courted arrest along with comrade Batukeshwar Dutt. He was sentenced to transportation for life and when the police got an inkling of his involvement in the Lahore Conspiracy case, Bhagat was charged with the murder of DSP Saunders.

Once inside the jail, Bhagat Singh witnessed discrimination between European and Indian prisoners, and led other prisoners in a hunger strike to protest against this shoddy treatment meted out to the Indian political prisoners. He and Batukeshwar Dutt launched a hunger strike demanding equality in standards of food, clothing, toiletries and other hygienic necessities, as well as availability of books and a daily newspaper for the political prisoners, whom they demanded should not be forced to do manual labour or any undignified work in the jail. Soon other Indian prisoners too joined the strike and thus ensued an inspirational saga of human endurance and courage that stirred the conscience of the entire nation. Despite police brutality and repeated attempts of forced feeding, the strikers led by Bhagat Singh carried on their fast for 116 days at the end of which the government had to yield to their demands. Never before on earth have any such incident ever occurred where someone have fasted for 116 longs days in protest for their basic rights.

An avid reader, Bhagat Singh spent the long period of incarceration reading socialist literature. Not only did he read, he also penned down his thoughts in a note book. Bhagat Singh's 404-page jail diary is replete with his ideas, philosophy and his dreams for the country.

Bhagat Singh vs. Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh, two titans of the Indian freedom movement and inspirational leaders who laid down their lives while seeking emancipation for their countrymen. Committed as they were towards the goal of India's freedom from British rule, the means they adopted were as different as chalk and cheese. While one spearheaded a civil disobedience movement founded on the principles of nonviolence and Satyagraha, the other waged a revolutionary armed struggle laced with violence towards the British regime.

As a young lad, Bhagat Singh actively took part in the non-cooperation movement and was an admirer of Mahatma Gandhi. He earnestly believed that India would indeed gain freedom under Gandhi's leadership. But when Gandhi called off the movement following the Chauri Chaura riot in 1922, Bhagat Singh became disenchanted with Gandhism and gradually veered towards the tenets of armed revolutionary struggle. Prior to his arrest and subsequent execution, Bhagat Singh led many a valiant attacks against the British machinery.

The pre-eminence of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh in Indian freedom movement and their distinctly different approaches have spawned many controversies and even conspiracy theories. Most of these stem from Gandhi and the Indian National Congress' alleged failure to prevent Bhagat Singh's execution despite enjoying substantial clout with the British government. In fact a number of recent Bollywood movies like 'Shaheed Bhagat Singh' are replete with subtle insinuations that Gandhi indeed could have done more to save Bhagat Singh's life.

But Gandhi was an admirer of Bhagat Singh and publicly applauded his patriotism on many occasions. The Mahatma in fact wrote to the Viceroy pleading with him to commute the death sentence of Singh and his accomplices.

They demanded In the issue of Young India of 29 March 1931, Gandhi wrote: "Bhagat Singh and his two associates have been hanged. The Congress made many attempts to save their lives and the Government entertained many hopes of it, but all has been in a vain. Bhagat Singh did not wish to live. He refused to apologise, or even file an appeal. Bhagat Singh was not a devotee of non-violence, but he did not subscribe to the religion of violence. He took to violence due to helplessness and to defend his homeland.
In his last letter, Bhagat Singh wrote, " I have been arrested while waging a war. For me there can be no gallows. Put me into the mouth of a cannon and blow me off." These heroes had conquered the fear of death. Let us bow to them a thousand times for their heroism.
But we should not imitate their act. In our land of millions of destitute and crippled people, if we take to the practice of seeking justice through murder, there will be a terrifying situation. Our poor people will become victims of our atrocities. By making a dharma of violence, we shall be reaping the fruit of our own actions.
Hence, though we praise the courage of these brave men, we should never countenance their activities. Our dharma is to swallow our anger, abide by the discipline of non-violence and carry out our duty.”

Bonjour Folks! December is here & it's again that time of the year when everything is merry & cool. With Christmas & New Year round the corner, we all come into holiday mood and start planning to spend time with our family & friends. We all have our own ways to spend this amazing time of the year. Some of us enjoy by going on vacations or by doing some adventurous sports with friends, throwing a pool party or by simply praying at a local temple/church. My Idea of a perfect holiday is to watch back to back movies continuous for 2-3 days with a bunch of my besties.

And for me, it's always fun to watch a specific type of movie say Horror Movies or Classic Romantic Ones. And to accompany us is a bucket full of Popcorn's, a caret full of Beer, Pizzas, Samosas and a round of jokes & old memory talks. And talking about movies, my personal favorite is the vintage Hollywood movies because its always fun to watch yesteryear's movies which are full of love, romance, drama & entertainment.

Me & My friends choose a type and then watch that kind of movie for the whole day, on next day we decide to watch another type of movies & so on. Just like these vintage movies their movie posters are uniquely awesome. The Colors, Graphics, Textures are simply beautiful & makes these posters so lively & artistic. Looking at them i feel so curious & excited about the way these movie stars might have actually lived their glittering lives & the people who created it were the inventors of entertainment world which we get to see in today's movies.

These are the great movies that defined an era, entertained a generation and personified the magic and glamour of the silver screen. They just don’t make movies like this anymore. So, here's a collection of few of these great movie posters all in one star-filled, 3 series exclusive write-up. This is the 3rd & Final part of the 3 Part Series Blog. Do go through each one of them, make a list of your personal favorites and this holiday season watch some of the most beautiful movies of all time. Cheers!

War Of Ideologies — Modi Vs AK
An Unstoppable Force Meets An Immovable Object
(Few Reasons Why Modi is the Modern Day Gandhi,  And Kejriwal the Modern Day Bhagat Singh)

Battle Of Varanasi is Over, but the WAR is still On!

Gandhi Vs Bhagat Singh has always remained country's hottest debate since ages. Both were great personalities and they gave two distinct ideologies which is being followed by various people today.  Gandhi believed in Ahimsa and Non-Violence where as Bhagat Singh had a straight forward approach to achieve goals irrespective of the nature of the method whether through Violence or Non-Violence. Without any comparison, both ideologies have their own pros and cons and it's a never ending debate which can go on and on to prove which ones better than the other.

Talking about Arvind Kejriwal and Narendra Modi, It is possible to admire both. Just because one admires Modi, doesn't mean Kejriwal is a Media Creation, A Closet Naxalite and the clandestine captain of Congress's B team. Likewise, just because Kejriwal is your messiah, doesn't mean Modi is corrupt and communal. Both work on a distinct ideologies, but if you will closely observe you will come to know that Modi works on Gandhian principle though he is a big admirer of Sardar Patel whereas AK have a rather fast approach just like Bhagat Singh. Without comparing each one of the modern leaders with the two Legends of the yesteryear's, this post is written just based on a general observation according to me and this may differ from person to person.

Like Bhagat Singh, AK is a selfless patriot who started his revolution alone and later like minded people joined in. He believes in People's Rule. Just Like Bhagat Singh, who came on to the scene in 1929 (assembly bombing), AK came on to the scene after Anna Hazare's India Against Corruption Movement also called August Kranti. AK follows the principle's of Ahimsa and Non Violence, just like Bhagat Singh who came to lime light when he used non co-operation and satyagraha (fasting) when he was in jail protesting bad treatment of Indian prisoners. AK also have fasted for people's benefit. Though Bhagat Singh killed only one man in his life, Saunders; but he resisted from doing so when he threw bombs in the parliament, the bombs were thrown in unoccupied areas. His War was against the British Raj and he did not want to kill Indians. Like Bhagat Singh, AK wants a Complete Solution for all problems call it Corruption, Poverty, Women Safety. The Principle of Poorna Swaraj.

On the other hand, Narendra Modi is an extraordinary man with simple basic values. A man with strong vision, who builds stuff, a man with a dream and vision for India. He makes great impact on the people with his power talks, just like Mahatma Gandhi. A first rate orator who deeply cares for his country & people. He is someone who is a true patriot, who will not let China, Pakistan and even tiny Maldives make us look like idiots, like we are being made to, under the watch of the Family.

I doubt if many countries would want to try out terrorism/intrusions as a tactic with Narendra Modi as the leader of India. I doubt if there is better person to represent India in a room with giant sharks like Obama, Putin and/or Nawaz Sharif. Modi is as good as them and despite his "Poor English", he can string it with the best that there is. India and business is going to bloom under Modi, its an undeniable fact.

But Modi believes only in development without focusing on the core termites like Corruption, Black Money, Scams, etc. Whereas Arvind Kejriwal sole priorities are to eliminate these termites, through which he believes India can become a powerful country. Now Only if Modi gives more priorities to these important aspects, it would be much easier for him to progress in his development plans.

Arvind Kejriwal is also someone who enjoys the trust and confidence of the republic. Only a tyro will deny the fact that he owes his messianic rise to sheer guts. Both are superstars in their own right and their ideological battle is going to take India to the next level. Their clash is going to transform India and wash out other parties. It is something to celebrate for only when there are credible choices, Democracy starts to show its transformative prowess.

Both AK & Modi are charismatic, with each public appearance the level of their charisma usually goes up. That means they garner peoples' attention almost everywhere they go. They have delivered what they have promised in their respective election manifestos and they have had to stand up and "grow" through or against many scandals and allegations.

Arvind Kejriwal has become an iconic figure in Indian Politics. He is destined to rise to primus-inter-pares one day;  However, for now, the TriColour awaits the imminent rise of the lionheart chosen as the Prime Minister Of India, who once sold tea as a boy in Vadnagar. With Delhi Elections coming up, it would be interesting to see AAP vs BJP again in the Battle of Delhi. No matter who ever wins or loses, we will have to wait for few years to pass curiously to know who will sustain and who will perish. But lets hope both the Ideologies work together or in their respective spectrum to bring about a change in the country.

The War Has Just Begun....

An Open Letter — To NaMo, Big B, Tendulkar, Khans, Ambani
By Actress Shenaz Treasurywala

Super Model, Actor Shenaz Treasurywala has written an open letter to PM Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Anil Ambani appealing to take action against eve-teasing & rapes in India. A popular host of the MTV Most Wanted, Shenaz Treasurywala wrote an open letter to the country's most popular and powerful men according to her appealing about one of the biggest problems faced by the country. The actor was particularly distressed when she wrote about her experiences with men on countries public transport and how she felt. She also sent out a strong message to the women who have been sexually harassed, saying that there is nothing women should be ashamed about and that it is a shame for the Men who does that. Here is what she says, as quoted in INDICINE:

❝ Dear Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Anil Ambani,

I am writing to YOU specifically because you are the most powerful and influential MEN in our country.

I am writing to you as a woman who grew up in a middle class family in Mumbai.

I am writing to YOU for HELP!

My parents may not like me saying this. I apologize to them if they are reading but this is NOT MY SHAME. It’s THEIR SHAME.

My first experience with the opposite sex, was when I was just 13 and groped by a man (never saw his face but will never forget his hand) while walking in the vegetable market with my mom. She had just given me the worst haircut and as an angry teenager I was upset at her and was lagging behind as she walked ahead. I still remember what I was wearing. It was her dress, mustard with flowers and little bow in the front. How I hate that dress! As if, it was the dress’s fault.

I was shocked at first. Speechless. He disappeared. I just stood there. Tears started pouring out of my innocent eyes. I told my mom who went mad screaming in the market but who knew where that man disappeared to. I still remember the dirty feeling I had and the number of times I showered in my grand-mom’s bathroom after. That feeling never went away.

Since then it was non-stop. I would try to articulate this to my parents and while my mom understood, my dad and uncles told me I was imagining it. Maybe they just couldn't deal with it. CAN YOU?

When I was 15, I started going by train and bus to St. Xaviers’ College. I was groped and touched and from all angles and this was just how I grew up. Not Just Me but MOST INDIAN WOMEN who don’t have the luxury of cars and drivers.

As a teenager I would dream of and still sometimes dream that I had a machine gun and could kill all the men who tried to grope me. A very disturbing dream for a kid, don’t you think?

I got my first assignment as a model in the FYJC and I had to go to screen-tests straight from college. So I had to dress nice, didn’t make it any easier. I specifically remember the time I went for an audition in a red body suit and a black long skirt with slits. It was HELL! I never wore that again. As if it was the dress’s fault.

I developed ways to defend myself, I always carried a bag in front of me, my fist was always clenched, I always turned around every 20 seconds to check who was behind me and a few times I slapped men who touched me, I got slapped back many times too. Sometimes saved by the public, MOST TIMES NOT.

My mom begged me not to pick fights with men who touched me, she was afraid of acid being thrown at me or that somebody someday would hurt me badly. She is STILL AFRAID and today she told me not to take an UBER to my meeting tomorrow. Hell ya. BAN UBER! Make everyone take responsibility for this.

My sister got into Sophia’s college, we were all excited. She went by bus but the first day she came home, she sobbed traumatized. A man had put his hand in her tee-shirt through her sleeve, the entire bus ride. She just froze. She was a kid too and wasn’t equipped to even understand this. I was LIVID. I’m sorry sis for telling the world this, please don’t stop speaking to me. IT’S NOT Our Shame. It’s THEIRS!

One of my friends in college was RAPED on the train on her way home in the ladies compartment. She was sick and was going home in the 11:15 break. There was nobody in the first class compartment going back to Bandra at that time, it was a super fast meaning it didn't stop at most stations. He raped her and then jumped off after using her scrunchy (hair tie) to wipe himself. She was the only one on the train and had to limp her way back to her home in Bandra, bleeding profusely. She was just 16. This she felt was her shame so she did not say anything to anyone.

BUT IT ISN'T HER SHAME, it’s THEIR SHAME.

My mom accompanied me to Hyderabad on a shoot once. In churi bazaar, a cyclist groped My MOM. My dear respected and lovely MOM.

Sorry Mom, IT’S NOT Our Shame, It’s THEIR SHAME.

Why am I telling you my personal story?

Well first I want all women to Speak Up.

Let’s make this our MOTTO-

It’s not OUR SHAME, it’s THEIR SHAME.

Who are “THEY”?

“THEY” ARE THE MEN IN OUR COUNTRY.

Not just the rapists and the sexual offenders and gropers but also our Fathers (sorry dad) and Uncles and Brothers and MOVIE STARS AND CRICKETERS AND POLITICIANS for not SAVING US or PROTECTING US by insisting and protesting for the LAWS TO CHANGE and Rapists and Gropers to BE PUNISHED SEVERELY!

Why do we as women have to feel so threatened? WHY has there been no severe action taken? This has gone on for years now. Not just in Delhi but all over our country and yes even in BOMBAY OR MUMBAI OR Whatever the hell you want to call it! It’s NOT SAFE. NO!

My biggest fear ever since I was kid and even today when I walk back home at night from yoga or when I take a rickshaw from a friend’s home is being RAPED. I still feel that fear. I am still am on guard. I still fantasize of having that MACHINE GUN.

In the past 4 years I have been living and working half in India and half in New York and let me tell you I have walked the streets of Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn (perceived as the most dangerous in NYC) at 3am after parties in short skirts and felt safer than I feel in Bandra at 10 pm on a quiet road fully covered. WHY??

Let’s talk about Delhi our Capital. I was there 2 days ago and the day of the rape. I wanted to go out and walk by India Gate and admire our great monuments but could I?! Why??

What good are all your speeches in the US or Japan or AUSTRALIA- NAMO, if no woman can walk freely in the streets even in broad daylight by herself in the CAPITAL OF OUR COUNTRY. Isn’t this a SHAME? SHAME ON YOU SIR.

This is our NO1 issue. FIX THIS before anything else.

This is a SHAME. And it’s YOUR SHAME. You are now RESPONSIBLE FOR US.

I beg all of you fine gentlemen that I have addressed to help change the LAW.

You are powerful men. I say, SHAME and PUNISH THE Gropers and Sexual offenders severely. KILL THE RAPISTS.

I won’t ask for public castration which is what I want and all the women want because I know this is unrealistic and things move SO DAMN SLOW in our FINE NATION.

All I ask for is the -Death Penalty Please. NOW! QUICK!

If that’s too hard or will take too long then at least LIFE IMPRISONMENT.

Put them away forever.

Why was this man who had raped twice before out on bail?

And then given a drivers license? YES, BAN UBER TOO. Make everyone responsible.

I’m ready to do anything. I’m not a big enough celeb but you Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sharukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Anil Ambani SIRS- need to speak up as MEN ( you are the men with the power)

SAVE US!

Please demand the Death Sentence for the Rapists.

NO BAIL. Just Death.

Superstars I beg you, please take a stand. Use your Superstardom and Power and MONEY and save the women of our country. SAVE US!

I urge you to protest or go on a fast or do something DRASTIC so people take notice, the government wakes up and CHANGES the LAW so these men are terrified to touch us.

Death to rapists. No bail. Just death.

Imagine Amitabh Bachchan Sir, Aamir Khan, Salmaan Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Ambani- if you went on a fast or walked to the Rashrtrapati In Delhi. If you, took this stand and made this YOUR NO 1 issue, how much change there would be?!

Why should we as women feel so unsafe in our motherland?!

Why should we as women be terrified and on guard all the time.

Why was this man out on bail after committed two rapes already ?

Make an Example Of Him.

Any man who even touches a woman should be imprisoned for life.

Be strict, make examples of these men, scare those who dare to touch us.

SCARE THEM BY MAKING AN EXAMPLE OUT OF THEM.

SAVE US, Save your mother, daughter, sister please!

This is NOT OUR SHAME.

THIS IS YOURS.

SHAME ON YOU.

Don’t sleep till you- SAVE YOUR WOMEN!

With all respect,
Shenaz Treasury

And here's the beautiful Shenaz Treasurywala, we respect and salute her daring and courage and wish her voice reaches the entire country for the stand she have taken for the women's of our country.

Source: Wikipedia

India has always been famous in the ancient world for its precious stones. Since early times, the rulers of India vied with one another in collecting jewels of great luster and brilliance. In fact, the number of jewels in a king's possession measured the greatness of a monarch. These jewels were in the form of diamonds, diamond-studded ornaments, rubies and pearls. They were given as presents from the chieftains to the kings, who in turn passed it on to their queens or to another ruler as a gift. Sometimes, they were acquired through force as war booty. Often these precious stones made history and left behind them stories that live up to the present day, and to India belongs the proud privilege of producing the Koh-i-noor diamond.

The origin of the Koh-i-noor diamond remains a mystery. Indian legends say it came to Earth as a gift from the Sun God. Another record states that it was discovered in the bed of river Godavery, 3200 B.C., and was worn by Carna Rajan, of Anga, who was slain in one of the battles of the “great war”. Third legend had it that the Koh-i-noor diamond is actually a piece of another legendary and even older diamond, called the Great Moghul. The priceless and sought-after gem is said to have weighed 793 carat and has mysteriously disappeared in 1665, never to be seen again. History and legends mingle in this ancient tale.

It is believed that the first owner of the Koh-i-noor diamond was the Rajah of Malwa. It is known that when Ala-ud-din conquered Malwa, a magnificent diamond, “a jewel unparalleled in all the world”, was part of the loot, but it dropped out of sight for the next 200 years. It is also believed that it changed hands several times and was in possession of different rulers; but its history starts with the arrival of Babur the Mughal on the Indian scene.

By the year 1523 Babur had taken possession of Lahore and at that time, Ibrahim Lodhi ruled Delhi. The Sultans of Delhi had always treated their courtiers with respect, but Ibrahim Lodhi was distrustful and cruel with them. He humiliated them and had them locked up in dungeons at the smallest pretext, where they languished chained to the walls of their cells. It was hardly surprising that the chief supporters of his regime appealed to Babur for help and he gladly agreed.

On 12th of April 1526, the Mughal army reached Panipat and set camp on a vast plain. Babur had twelve thousand men under his command. Despite the fact that Lodhi’s army largely outnumbered the army of Babur and the Sultan of Delhi had 1000 elephants trained in combat, he lost the battle.

Babur received reports that the Fort of Agra housed an immense treasure, which included a diamond that defied all description. Its size, color, and brightness were beyond comparison. When Babur took the possession of the diamond, he valued it at the price of two days food for the whole world. The legend says that at this time its weight was about 789 carat, or nearly six troy ounces.

Babur ruled only for four years and died in 1530 after a brief illness. After his death the precious stone was passed on to his son Humayun and later on - to successive generations of Moghul rulers, including Shah Jehan, the builder of Taj Mahal, who has set the priceless gem in his famous Peacock throne as one of the peacock’s eyes.

After the death of Shah Jahan, the Koh-i-noor diamond passed into the hands of his son Aurangzeb. When in his possession, it was shown to Tavernier - an enterprising French traveller and connoisseur, who made a tour through the East in search of rare and wonderful gems. Tavernier made and left to the history the first sketch of the Koh-i-noor diamond. Although at this time considered the most prized of all the crown-jewels, it had been greatly reduced in weight and value by the lapidary, the Venetian Hortensio Borgio, to whom had been committed the labor of re-cutting it, and who, though devoting three and a half years to the work assigned to him, exercised so little judgment and skill in its execution, that when the stone left his hands it had been reduced to a weight of 280 carat, having a length of one and five-eighths inch, and a thickness of five-eighths of an inch. So enraged was Aurungzeb at the extravagance and stupidity of his lapidary, that he not only refused to compensate him for his labor, but confiscated all his worldly possessions, and even seriously considered the propriety of taking his head also.

Though so greatly reduced in size and value, the mysterious potency of its charms still remained, and the stone was still recognized for its beauty, an element of discord, more powerful for evil than was the mythical apple of Eris.

Aurangzeb's death marked the beginning of the end of the Mughal Empire. His successors were weak and indolent kings who occupied the center stage for a short time only to fall into oblivion. Under their rule, the Mughal Empire was greatly reduced by rebellions and revolts. Power belonged to a select group of ministers who took advantage of the political instability around them and benefited politically and materially at the expense of the people and the Mughal Empire.

In 1719, Muhammad Shah was crowned the Emperor of Delhi, when he was barely seventeen years old. The new ruler loved ease, pleasures, and the joys of life. He cared little for the dangers within his court and to the Mughal Empire, which began slowly sinking into a state of decadence.

On the other side of the border, the fortunes of the Persian Empire were on the rise. Nadir Shah Afshar, a humble shepherd's son, had deposed the ruling monarch and proclaimed himself as the King of Persia. Consolidating his power in Persia, he marched into Afghanistan conquering its cities and soon, he was on his way to Delhi. In 1739 a battle took place on the plains of Karanal, fifty kilometers away from Delhi, which ended in a total defeat of the Indian army.

Credits: www.alshindagah.com
Nadir Shah was amazed at the grandeur of the Mughal court and looked at every article in the palace with great curiosity. He was also pleased at the hospitality of Muhammad Shah, for he fed and feasted the conquerors on a lavish scale. A few days later, the residents of Delhi killed a few Persian soldiers and Nadir Shah ordered a general massacre of the local population. At least 20,000-perhaps as many as 150,000- people lost their lives and the city was pillaged. At the end, the slaughter ceased, but not before Muhammad Shah promised to pay him war reparations and presented him with all the jewels in the Royal Treasury, which also included the famous Peacock Throne, the pride of the Mughal Emperors.

But the Koh-i-noor diamond was nowhere to be seen. Muhammad Shah carried it with him hidden in the folds of his turban, a secret known only to a selected few, including a eunuch in the harem of the Emperor. Hoping to win the favor of Nadir Shah, the disloyal eunuch whispered the emperor's secret into his ears, and Nadir Shah in turn, devised a plan to deprive Muhammad Shah of his prized possession. The day was drawing near for him to leave for Persia and Nadir Shah ordered a grand durbar to be held where he would hand over the control of the Mughal Empire back to Muhammad Shah.

On 1 May 1739, during the ceremony, he reminded Muhammad Shah of the ancient tradition of exchanging turbans between kings as a sign of friendship and fraternal ties. Nadir Shah gave little room for pause between word and action and removed the turban from his head and placed it on the head of Muhammad Shah, leaving the latter with no choice but to reciprocate the gesture. Muhammad Shah went through the ceremony with such poise that it left Nadir Shah baffled. Was the Koh-i-noor really hidden under the folds of his turban, as the eunuch had revealed, or it was a hoax?

After the ceremony, Nadir Shah hurried into his apartments and eagerly undid the folds of his turban, where he found the hidden diamond. Wonderstruck at its size, beauty, and brilliance, he exclaimed: "Koh-i-noor," which in Persian means "mountain of light," and the gem of fortune came to be known by this name thereafter. After returning to Persia, Nadir Shah kept the diamond near himself, within easy reach.

Nadir Shah was assassinated soon after and the diamond fell into the hands of Ahmad Shah Abdali, one of his ablest generals, who later became the King of Afghanistan. After his death in 1772, the Koh-i-noor diamond passed into the hands of his successors. In the battle for succession that followed, the Koh-i-noor ended in possession of one of his sons Shah Shuja Mirza. In the changing fortunes of war, Shuja Mirza was defeated and made prisoner by the allies of his brother, Mahmud Shah. However, before being captured, he managed to send his family to Punjab to seek refuge with Maharaja Ranjit Singh (known also as ‘Ranjeet the Lion’). Wafa Begum, Shuja Mirza’s wife, carried the Koh-i-noor diamond with her to Lahore.

Credits: www.alshindagah.com
Wafa Begum became greatly distressed when she heard the dreadful news of her husband. She sent envoys to Ranjit Singh and implored him to use his influence to get her husband released and in return for his help promised him the Koh-i-noor diamond. Ranjit Singh marched against the Afghans and got Shah Shuja released. After securing the Koh-i-noor diamond, Ranjit Singh had the prized jewel fitted in his turban. Later he had it sewn into an armlet, which he wore on all the important state occasions, where it remained for twenty years.

Before Ranjit Singh died in 1839, his priests tried to get him to donate the diamond to the Temple of Jaggannath. Apparently he agreed, but by this time he was unable to speak and the keeper of the royal treasure refused to release the stone, on the grounds that he has not received such orders.

In 1849, Dalip Singh surrendered the Koh-i-noor diamond to the British under the terms of a treaty, at the end of the Second Anglo-Sikh War. The treaty specified that: "The gem called Koh-I-noor, which was taken from Shah Shuja-ul-Mulk by Maharajah Ranjit Singh shall be surrendered by the Maharajah of Lahore to the Queen of England."

John Lawrence, the colonial administrator, put it in his waistcoat pocket and forgot about it. When asked for the prize, Lawrence had no idea where it was. Racing home, he asked his servant- who said, yes, he had found a small box, containing a piece of glass in his master’s waistcoat!

After gaining the famous diamond, the Governor General, Lord Dalhousie immediately sent the Koh-i-noor to England after taking every care to ensure its safe passage over the land and the sea-routes. On 6 April 1850 the Koh-i-noor left the shores of India on board of the HMS Medea. So shrouded in mystery was its departure that even the Captain of the Medea did not know the precious cargo his ship carried. On 3rd July, the Koh-i-noor was formally handed over to Queen Victoria by the officials of the East India Company in a private ceremony held in Buckingham Palace. The Koh-i-noor was removed from its mount and its weight, as calculated by the Queen's jeweler, was about 186 carats. It seems that the gem has been re-cut one more time before arriving to England and after Tavernier made the famous sketch of it.

When it was exhibited at the Crystal Palace, however, the public, used to “brilliant cuts” was disappointed by its “moghul - style” cut. The Queen along with others in the court decided that the brilliance of the diamond would be enhanced if it were refashioned into a brilliant cut. The re-cutting of the Koh-i-noor took a mere 38 days and cost of £8000; the final result was an oval brilliant weighing 108.93 carat. Despite the efforts, the results were most unfortunate, for it reduced the diamond drastically in weight, depriving it of all its historical and mineralogical value. The Koh-i-noor diamond, however, lost none of its original mystique.

In 1992 a new HM Stationary Office publication on the British Crown Jewels and regalia gave the revised weight of 105.602 carat for the Koh-i-noor and not the 108.93-carat figure previously published. The stone was found to measure 36.00 × 31.90 × 13.04 mm and it is set in the Maltese Cross at the front of the crown made for Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

Today, the Koh-i-noor is kept with other precious objects of the British Crown in a round display case in the basement of the "Jewel House," of the Tower of London, far away from playing any role in intrigues, assassinations, battles, fratricidal wars and lust as it had happened with its possessors in the past. It only casts its brilliance on the millions of tourists who, for the most part, are unaware of its long history in shaping the destinies of men.

This Mother's Facebook Post Goes Viral After She Was Shamed For
“Breastfeeding In Public”
Ashley Kaidel

It's a struggled life for any breastfeeding mother's. Especially when they want to feed their baby in public. No one knows this better than “loud and proud” breastfeeding mom Ashley Kaidel, who recently posted a viral fight back response to the judgment she received for breastfeeding her baby at a restaurant.

Last week, Ashley Kaidel, a 24-year-old mother from Florida, USA, posted a picture of herself breastfeeding to Facebook that showed her looking off into the distance. According to Kaidel, she was looking back at a woman staring at her with disgust for breastfeeding without a cover in public. Given how controversial “inappropriate” breastfeeding photos on Facebook have become, Kaidel’s photo and message quickly hit their mark, receiving over 118,000 shares and 375,000 likes in just a few days.

Kaidel wrote a lengthy response to this common judgment, emphasizing that a mother’s comfort when feeding her baby is most important of all:

“Number one, breastfeeding mothers are protected under federal law to breast feed any way, anyhow and anywhere they’re allowed to be in all circumstances otherwise. Number two, you should not ever feel shamed, belittled, embarrassed, or wrong for feeding your baby the way nature intended. I do this for the person that has the mentality, ‘Boobs are to be covered. They’re for your husband’s eyes only. They’re intimate. It’s a personal/private thing to feed your baby. Cover up out of respect. My kids don’t need to see that. Walk out of the room,’ and any other derogatory, close-minded comments and sentiments alike.

Again, breasts were made to sustain your baby’s life before they were made to bring pleasure to any other man, woman, partner, or spouse. Their sole purpose is to make food and dispense it straight into a baby’s mouth. There is nothing weird about this, and there’s no difference in me feeding my baby with my breast than you feeding yourself with a spoon.”

She even got support from various social groups and newspapers. Like this one, making it to the German Newspaper Headlines for which she proudly says on her facebook, "Keep breastfeeding and beer drinking, German mamas! Das boot!"

And she also faced numerous criticisms, like this one below,

But the smile on her face shows, that she don't give a damn about all the criticism.

Kaidel created her Intactalactivst Mama Facebook page so that she could speak out about breastfeeding and provide support for other moms who have incurred the same judgment.

Kaidel explains that her first few attempt at breastfeeding her now 4-year-old daughter lasted only two weeks because of a lack of information and education. As a result, Kaidel spent much of the time preparing for her second baby researching about birth, breastfeeding, and attachment parenting. After overcoming major hurdles like tongue-tie and mastitis (helped by a visit to a lactation consultant), Kaidel says she is proud of her breastfeeding journey with her almost 6-month-old son and plans to nurse on demand, without shame.

After hearing a story like this from such an honest mom who jumped through hoops to successfully breastfeed, it’s hard to imagine that anyone would have a problem with a mother so committed to feeding her baby. And still, we see the same story time and again. A mom chooses to breastfeed on a park bench, at a restaurant table, or at a family member’s home, and is given the side-eye for daring to feed her baby without covering up.

For Kaidel, her passion to normalize breastfeeding provides benefits that extend to all moms. From her own struggles, she recognizes that not every mother can breastfeed and that “all that matters is the baby is being fed.” Supporting a breastfeeding mother’s right to feed in public is a way to support every mom’s right to feed her baby in the way she chooses.

As Kaidel tells Babble, she hopes her viral post will spark a conversation to make this pro-feeding attitude the social norm:

“It’s time to get back to basics and remember that breastfeeding is natural, beautiful, and best for both mother and baby. It’s time we make breastfeeding normal again.”
